Wisconsin Leads BYU Entrada Classic

After the first day of the BYU Entrada Classic the Cougars are in third place behind Wisconsin and Minnesota, but ahead of the four other Utah teams entered in the 54-hole tournament at the well-manicured Entrada Country Club in St. George.
Wisconsin shot 589 in the first 36-holes of the tournament and holds an 11 stroke lead over Minnesota that posted an even 600 strokes. BYU is another seven behind with a 36-hole total of 607.
The individual leader is Kimberly Dinh with rounds of 72-70-142. Her teammate Kris Yoo was just one shot back with rounds of 71-72-143.
BYU’s Lea Garner opened the tournament with a 69, the best round of the tournament thus far, but she slipped to an 81 in the second round for a 36-hole total of 150.
The final 18-holes of the tournament will be played Tuesday.
