Three Collegians Share Winterchamps Title; Gaiotti Repeats as Women’s Champ; Poulson Tops Seni
Collegiate golfers dominated the Men’s Championship of Winterchamps, and well they should. The collegians have been competing in major tournaments in warm weather climates and their games are in tip, top shape. Other Utah amateurs are just coming off a very cold winter and still have rusty games.
BYU’s Zac Blair and Joe Parkinson, along with Tanner Higham of Utah State finished in a tie for first place with a Modified Stableford score of 88. BYU’s Justin Keiley was in fourth place with an 84.
Annette Gaiotti repeated as champion of the Women’s Division with a score of 65, one shot better than Hannah Herman. Those two were well ahead of the rest of the field.
Steve Poulson won the Senior Division by one shot over Kirk Siddens. Poulson tallied 78 points and Siddens finished with a 77. The tournament was played at Sand Hollow and Skyh Mountain.
The top five places in the three championship divisions are posted below. The complete results, including all other flights, can be found by visiting https://ghintpp.com/uga/TPPOnlineScoring/resultsStroke.aspx?id=112&fid=406
