Friendly Hole Turns Sour for Summerhays at Tampa Bay
The hole that giveth was also the hole that took away.
Daniel Summerhays birdied the 18th hole at Innisbrook Resort on Friday and it was enough to advance him to the weekend, and then on Saturday the 18th hole stung him with a triple bogey and pretty much knocked him out of contention in the Tampa Bay Championship. He finished with a three over par 74 and he now stands at 218, 11 shots out of the lead.
There are 12 players within two shots of the lead headed into the final round Sunday.
