McMullin, Gaiotti Post Good First Rounds at USGA Women’s Mid-Am
Julie McMullin shot a first round 74 and stands in ninth place in the qualifying portion of the USGA Women’s Mid-Am Championship being played at Briggs Ranch in San Antonio, Texas. Annette Gaiotti shot a 79 and is in 54th place and in good position to make match play. The low 64 advance into match play.
Dawn Woodard was one of only two players to break par. She shot 69 and is the leader going into the second round Sunday. She has been qualifying medalist for the Mid-Am on two previous occasions and has also reached the quarterfinals twice.
