Beaver Wins Third Straight 2A Prep Crown

Beaver easily won its third straight Class 2A championship Tuesday at Rose Park by a whopping 37 strokes over second place Rowland Hall and interestingly, none of the Beaver golfers finished in the top three individually.
Beaver coach Mark Yardley had already announced he was stepping down as coach after the tournament. He has coached the team for 15 seasons.
Caleb Chodosh won the medalist honors with a score of 70-73-143, edging Millard’s Nicklaus Britt who shot 72-72-144.
