Bachman, Probst Advance to USGA Senior Am
Rob Bachman earned medalist honors at the USGA Senior Amateur Qualifying held at Park Meadows Country Club Tuesday by shooting a two under par 70. Bill Probst won a sudden death playoff to earn the other qualifying spot. Probst and Ken Sowby each shot even par 72s and Probst sank a 20 foot par putt on the first playoff hole to win the spot. Sowby became the first alternate. Rick Lloyd shot 73 and is the second alternate.
