Purser Ends Blair’s Six Straight Skein, But Blair’s 36-Hole Streak Still Alive

Devon Purser ended Zac Blair’s winning skein of six straight Utah amateur victories in one regard when he shot a 64 in the Glen Eagle Amateur and Blair finished in a fourth place tie with a 69. However, in another regard Blair’s streak is still alive. The Glen Eagle Amateur was an 18-hole tournament and Blair’s five previous wins have been 36-hole events and that streak stays intact.
The Glen Eagle Amateur attracted a strong field. Jordan Rogers was second with a 67 and Jeff Jolley was third with a 68. Tied with Blair at 69s were Justin Keiley, Dan Horner, and Brennan Coburn.
