Blair’s Streak of Five Straight Wins in Jeopardy at Spanish Oaks
Zac Blair, who has won five straight Utah amateur tournaments, could be on the verge of ending that remarkable run. He shot an opening round 71 at the Spanish Oaks Open, but that is five shots behind the leader, Tyler Miner, who shot 66. In addition to Miner there are seven other golfers ahead of him going into Sunday’s final round. Those players are Jeff Jolley with a 68, Ross Hruska, Seokwon Jeon, and Stratton Schulz at 69, and Brady Hughes, Mike Jurca, and Cole Ogden at 70. Tied with Blair at 71 are Adam Tebbs and Kenny You.
That are a lot of golfers in position to derail Blair’s winning streak and the odds are very much against it.
It should be a very interesting round at Spanish Oaks today.
