Zac Blair Wins Fifth Straight Utah Tournament

Zac Blair. Zac Blair. Zac Blair. Zac Blair, Zac Blair!
He has entered five tournaments on the Utah amateur circuit and won them all. This time it was at the Golden Spike Amateur at Eagle Mountain in Brigham City. He shot a 67 which was good enough to edge five other collegians by one shot. That group included BYU’s Mike Jurca, and Aggies Brendan Dennis, Chris Sayer, and Bubba Hall.
Conditions for this year’s tournament were ideal.  Players left with a sunburn as opposed to frostbite as in years past.  Ideal weather led to ideal scoring conditions.
It was a good preview of next week’s Cougar Classic that will bring all of the collegiate teams from the state together at Riverside Country Club Friday and Saturday.
