Cougars Overtake BYU-Hawaii at John Burns Invitational

Although BYU wasn’t pleased with an 11th place finish at the John Burns Intercollegiate in Hawaii it was very pleased that it jumped past BYU-Hawaii in the final round and actually finished ten strokes ahead of them. That makes for a much more relaxing flight home.
Cole Ogden shot six under par and that helped the Cougars to their best round of the tournament by 14 shots. Zac Blair was two under on the final round.
The Cougars finished nearly 50 shots out of first place and that gives them plenty of room for improvement. California won the team title by six shots over Texas A & M.
Utah also had its best round the tournament, but still finished in 16th place.
