UGA Tournament of Champions

Rules and Regualtions

Basis of Play- The UGA Tournament of Champions will be conducted at stroke play over 36 holes. All play is gross only.
Eligibility- Those participating in the T of C must be tournament winners and / or club champions. All participants must be members of the UGA.
Site, Pairings and Times- Both rounds will be played at the Wolf Creek GC on Friday, September 10th and Saturday, September 11th. The pairings will be determined by the UGA committee. Tee times will be posted on the UGA website, www.uga.org, or players may call the UGA office, 563-0400. Each player is responsible to know his own tee time.
Playoffs- In case of a tie for the championship in either division there will be a sudden death playoff to determine the winner.
Entry Fee- The entry fee is $65 and includes green fees, cart, lunch both days, and a limited number of prizes. The tournament is generously subsidized by Wolf Creek Resort.
Withdrawals and Refunds- If for any reason you must withdraw please notify the UGA office at least 48 hours prior to starting time. If notified prior to 48 hours of starting time a refund will be granted less a $10 handling fee.
Conduct- All players will be expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike and courteous manner. Inappropriate conduct may result in disqualification.
Dress Code- Shorts are permissible, but they need to be proper golf attire at least mid-thigh in length. A collared shirt is required. Denims, levis, cutoffs, gym shorts, etc. are not permitted.
Cellular Phones- Cellular phones are not permitted to be active during play of a round.
Golf Shoes- Golf shoes must be spikeless.
