The format for the UGA 8-Man Team Public Links league this year has changed.  (NOTE:  Senior Public Links and ALL Country Club leagues are still the same as in years past.)  This year we will have a seeding tournament to rank all teams into a 32-team double elimination bracket.  Once a team has lost twice in the 32-team double elimination bracket, they will be eliminated for the remainder of the season.  The team that successfully works its way to the end of the bracket shall be declared the winner.

 

On Saturday, April 13th, all teams that are participating in the 2002 Public Links 8-Man Team League are required to play in the Seeding Tournament held at Stonebridge GC.  There will be a morning (7:30) and afternoon (1:00) shotgun for the seeding tournament.  Please call the UGA if you would like to request either a morning or afternoon start.  Shotgun times will be posted on the website April 1st or you may call the UGA for your time.

 

The team entry fee is $240 (price includes green fees and carts only, lunch is not being provided; only professional’s fees are being waived.)  The tournament entry fee is due on the day of the tournament.  The $50 league fee is also required and must be paid on the day of the tournament.  Please return the entry form before March 29th if you are interested in playing.

 

Enclosed is an entry form for the Seeding Tournament, a 32-team double elimination bracket and the Public Links Rules and Regulations.
