(St. George, Utah) The Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club is pleased to announce that it is making its golf course available to veterans on November 15, 2016 as part of the Utah Golf Foundation’s Veterans on Course program.

Entrada is proud to be the first course in Southern Utah to host a Veterans on Course event. This is a free golf program open to military veterans of all ages and skill levels.

The event will begin at 1:45 p.m. with a lesson from volunteer Utah Section PGA Golf Professionals, followed by a nine-hole, scramble format, round of golf and following play, a social gathering with guest speaker retired USMC Colonel Dave Waters and refreshments provide by the club. The event has a full field at this time.

The UGF's Veterans on Course inaugural season teed off earlier this year with events held at Davis Park, River Oaks and Hobble Creek golf courses in Northern Utah. Entrada is the first country club to host this well received program. 50-60 men and women of all military branches and ranks participate in each event.

In addition to a golf lessons, a round of golf and the social gathering, participants can select golf equipment, free of charge, from the Vets Club Depot. The Vets Club Depot, a free program managed by The First Tee of Utah Executive Director Paul Pugmire, offers donated equipment to veterans at each event and is headquartered at Golf the Round in Salt Lake City, Utah.
