UGA Player Rankings

The UGA Player Performance Rating shall evaluate the performance of every player in designated tournaments. The individual standings in the UGA Player Performance Rating determine some spots on the Utah / Arizona Shootout team, Pacific Coast Amateur Team, USGA State Team, Governor’s Cup Team and the Southwest Matches.

The purpose of the UGA SPPR ranking system is to provide a fair and equitable way of selecting the most competitive senior players, based on their tournament performance each year, to play on UGA teams or other forms of UGA competition. The system is designed to allow and encourage as much access by tournament players as possible while maintaining a fair and equitable measure of their relative performance.

The UGA Women’s Player Performance Rating shall evaluate the performance of every Woman player in designated tournaments. The individual standings in the UGA Women’s Player Performance Rating determine some spots on the Utah / Arizona Shootout team and the USGA State Team.

PLAYER PERFORMANCE RATINGS WILL ONLY BE UPDATED AFTER THE TOURNAMENT IN CHARGE HAS POSTED SCORES TO THE PLAYERS’ HANDICAPS
